John is a licensed boiler operator and is currently employed as a training/consulting specialist.

John's steam system operator experience began with an enlistment in the US Navy's Nuclear Power Program from 2010-2016. After working in a variety of industries, he returned to the steam world in 2022 as a full-time operator for Steamworks. He continuously worked to improve the operations program until 2025, when he assumed a full-time training/consulting role.

John strives for a high degree of accuracy. His humility, practical experience, and "do it right" mentality is a perfect fit for the Steamworks team and its goal of providing consistent and quality services.
